LINDGREN FRUSTRATED BY DEFEAT

Friday April 14, 2017
WOLVERHAMPTON ace Freddie Lindgren admits there are issues which need addressing in the team.

Lindgren notched 12+2 in Friday's 54-38 defeat at Belle Vue with the tail end of the team struggling again.

They kept it close early on but conceding four heat advantages out of five in the mid-part of the meeting proved costly and ended any hope of leaving The National Speedway Stadium with any league points to add to their tally.

Once again it was skipper Lindgren, Jacob Thorssell, Kyle Howarth and Sam Masters who contributed the majority of points for the Wolves.

Said Lindgren "For whatever reason we're just not firing as a whole team and that is really frustrating.

"A few of the boys continued to struggle and I'm not quite sure how we address that, but I think we need to address that pretty soon because I think we need to get more points on the board.

A bumper crowd is expected at Monmore Green on Tuesday where Parrys International Wolves will be hoping to maintain their unbeaten home start with the return clash against the Aces.

BELLE VUE 54: Kenneth Bjerre 15, Craig Cook 10, Steve Worrall 7+2, Jack Smith 6+3, Max Fricke 6+1, Dan Bewley 5+1, Justin Sedgmen 5+1.

WOLVERHAMPTON 38: Freddie Lindgren 12+2, Jacob Thorssell 8+2, Sam Masters 7, Kyle Howarth 7, Adam Skornicki 2, Max Clegg 2, Nathan Greaves 0.
