WOLVERHAMPTON star Rory Schlein says they can’t take any chances when they host King’s Lynn at Monmore Green on Monday (7.30).

The Parrys International Wolves hold an 18-point lead over the Stars in their Knockout Cup tie and are well on course to book their semi-final spot.

But Schlein is nonetheless keen to maintain their perfect home form against his former club and knows they must guard against complacency.

Said Schlein: “Some people might say we’ve got one foot in the semi-final, but we can’t afford to think like that. They’ve got some good riders and will want to beat us on our own track.

“We want a good Cup run and we want to keep our unbeaten home record, so we need to approach it like we would any other meeting.”

Max Clegg will be back in the Wolves side as he guests for the injured Mark Riss at reserve, whilst Wolves will otherwise be at full strength.

King’s Lynn hand a debut to Cradley star Danny Ayres at reserve and feature 2012 World Champion Chris Holder, former Grand Prix star Troy Batchelor and Great Britain international Robert Lambert in their talented side.

WOLVERHAMPTON: Freddie Lindgren, Kyle Howarth, Rory Schlein, Jacob Thorssell, Sam Masters, Max Clegg, Nathan Greaves.
KING’S LYNN: Troy Batchelor, Thomas Jorgensen, Kai Huckenbeck, Robert Lambert, Chris Holder, Lewis Rose, Danny Ayres.
