WOLVERHAMPTON host a bumper double-header on Monday as they face both Swindon and King's Lynn at Monmore Green (7.30).

The two meetings round off the regular Premiership campaign for the Parrys International Wolves who have already sealed their place in the end-of-season Play-Offs.

But there is still plenty riding on both fixtures.

The Wolves need just one point to wrap up second place behind table topping Swindon (7.30) who are expected to announce their choice of Semi-Final opponents following the first meeting.

The second feast of action sees King's Lynn take to the track (9pm approx) who know an away win would be enough to see them avoid the dreaded relegation play-off next month.

It promises to be a thrilling night of speedway at the home of the reigning Champions, and team manager Peter Adams wants to see his full strength side head into the play-offs on a positive note.

Said Adams: "After the loss at Swindon last Thursday meant we were unable to catch them for top spot, the aim was to try and build up some momentum ahead of the play-offs so in that respect our win at Leicester on Friday was a good result for us.

"We're looking to finish on as many points as possible and we could finish second in the league table which would be another solid effort from us upon the completion of the regular fixtures.

"We're looking for two more convincing wins on Monday and it should be a terrific night of entertainment.

"Particularly in the Swindon meeting, who knows, we could end up meeting them at some point in the play-offs so it would be good if we could send out some form of message.

"It's good to be back at full strength at this stage of the season and the return from injury of both Sam (Masters) and Mark (Riss) have been very welcome that's for sure.

"Ellis Perks tried gamely in his spell with us but for whatever reason he was unable to score the sorts of points we require at reserve.

"So to see Mark gating so well, riding so well and scoring points too is a tremendous boost for both the team and Mark himself and we're happy for him because he's a good lad.

"He's a match for any reserve he'll come up against in the play-offs - and we're just as good as any other team in the top four too.

"But first we want to build that momentum with two big performances on Monday and hopefully we'll see a good turnout."

Swindon include World Championship leader Jason Doyle as well as likeable Polish racer Tobiasz Musielak who raced for the Wolves in 2015. With both reserves out injured, the Robins have drafted in Mitchell Davey and former Wolf Tom Perry as guests.

King's Lynn are led by the newly crowned European Under-21 and Under-19 Champion Robert Lambert and also include in-form Dane Thomas Jorgensen as well as former Grand Prix star Tomas H Jonasson.

Admission for both meetings is £25 adults, £20 concessions, £10 Juniors (13 to 18) while Children up to 12 go FREE.
