WOLVERHAMPTON bring the curtain down on their season with a trip to Belle Vue in the Knockout Cup Final tonight (Wednesday, 7.30).

The Parrys International Wolves hold a ten-point lead from Tuesday's first leg.

And following Grand Final heartache against Swindon last week, which saw them miss out on a second consecutive league title by a single point, they're aiming to end their season on a high.

They are again without four of their top five riders with Freddie Lindgren, Jacob Thorssell, Rory Schlein and Kyle Howarth all ruled out through injury.

The Monmore outfit again call on seven time British Champion Scott Nicholls to guest against his former club, while Somerset's Richard Lawson and Leicester's Erik Riss also stand-in.

"We sincerely thank those three for accepting the guest bookings and coming in to help us at this stage of the year," said team boss Peter Adams.

"It's not a matter of picking riders off the shelf who are all waiting to have a go.

"There's a lot of riders who have packed their equipment up for the year now or who have gone home for the winter.

"So while it has been very difficult to plug our glaring absences, we are very grateful to the three riders we've booked and we're confident they can help us get the job done.

"It could have been by a few more, but ten points is still a decent lead in any two legged affair.

"We're certainly not going to roll over, that's not in our nature, and to add another trophy to the collection is well within our capabilities."

BELLE VUE: Kenneth Bjerre, Steve Worrall, Max Fricke R/R, Rohan Tungate, Craig Cook, Dan Bewley, Jack Smith.

WOLVERHAMPTON: Scott Nicholls, Richard Lawson, Erik Riss, Jacob Thorssell R/R, Sam Masters, Mark Riss, Nathan Greaves.
